Fika

The Swedish word Fika is a whole concept in Swedish culture and basically means “drinking coffee” most often accompanied with a cake and in the company of a friend. It is hard to find a better place to have a Fika, then FIKA’s own rooftop garden that is hidden behind the actual restaurant, where you can enjoy Swedish food in the sun’s rays and in a quiet environment away from the noise of Brick Lane. FIKA is a Fika place, a bar and a restaurant and are also organising events and workshops. The food served combines traditional Swedish elements, such as meatballs and gravadlax, and in addition to that they have a cocktail list with a Scandinavian touch.
