Nordic Bakery

With no music or Wi-Fi, minimalistic interior and simple food and sweets, Nordic Bakery makes the perfect place for a quit respite in the hectic central London areas Soho and Marylebone. The founder is a Finnish and the inspiration comes from her childhood, which makes the place Nordic, as the name implies, and not Scandinavian. There are however still many Scandinavian specialities to find. A must try is a freshly baked cinnamon bun (made the Finnish way). The Nordic Bakery bun is so famous that people travel from far to try it and you already understand why, when you are being meet by the cinnamon smell 10 metres from the bakery. Other things on the menu includes open rye bread sandwiches with among others gravadlax, smoked salmon or Danish salami and Swedish Tosca Kaka and Kladdkaka.
